Los grandes espiritus no necesitan confirmaciones, o no, al menos, confirmaciones espectaculares - aunque la posicion social del hombre se basa en el relieve visible del reconocimiento. Acaso la verdad no existe mas que en relacion con la aceptacion social? La realidad y el analisis historico demuestran mas bien lo contrario: no aceptado por la sociedad, el espiritu es precisamente el que crea la verdad sobre la cual la sociedad basa su itinerario. Me pregunto si no sucede algo similar cuando hablamos no de grandes espiritus, sino de la identidad espiritual de unos pueblos, tenidos, en general, por marginados.

Reality and historical analysis shows quite the opposite: not accepted by the society, the spirit is precisely that which creates the truth about society which bases its itinerary. I wonder if something similar happens when we talk about not of great spirits, but of the spiritual identity of peoples, held, usually bymarginalized.
